I have worked in Oil & Gas, Chemical and Process industries delivering engineering and IT solutions in Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia. This has included automation solutions that integrate with controls systems through to digital solutions to improve operational performance, increasing safety and reducing costs.

The consulting assignments have varied from bespoke solutions, debottlenecking and feasibility studies, to working on large transformation programmes. The scope of work has ranged from strategic planning through to leading solution design, development, and commissioning activities.

I have managed multi-site projects with varying team structures and sizes, combining external suppliers, consultancies, third party application developers (onshore and offshore) and client staff. I have always enjoyed this aspect of working with clients to solve industry problems, utilising emerging technologies and digital solutions to achieve this.
